Mission 2025

Mission 2025 -
Mission 2025 was packed with ministry! Our team of 6 travelled to 10 churches, 3 home groups, held 2 women's conferences, prison ministry, path ministry, a pastor's conference, a seminar, a children's day, and a chigger treatment ministry.
What an incredible trip! The missionaries were particularly busy this year. The women’s conferences were in two different towns, and 120 or so total women attended. Our prison ministry led us to visit the Bungoma Women’s Prison this year. This prison allows the women’s children to stay with them in the prison, and we had such a fun time using puppets to bring joy to the kids. We were also able to pray with the women and their children, deliver Swahili bibles, and provide the prison with toilet paper, sanitary supplies, and soap. Path ministry is always one of our favorite things - wandering the paths in the villages, visiting the huts of those who will welcome us, inviting them to local churches, praying for the community, and distributing seed packets. A lot of the village members had prayer requests for school fees to come through. The pastors, secretaries, and teachers from 13 separate churches came together for the pastor’s conference. They were very blessed to receive the Sunday School materials donated by CornerStone. Each team walked away encouraged in the word, and with newly sharpened administrative skills. Our Children’s Day was particularly fun this year! Over 200 children attended the children’s day, and about 75 of them confirmed that they want to live for Jesus! The teen day and movie night had a smaller turnout, but everyone who attended had a fantastic time. Last but not least - the medical ministry! Chigger bites are itchy, sometimes painful, and can cause infections. This ministry allowed us to treat the bites, clean them, and provide shoes to prevent new bites in the future.
Mission 2024

Mission 2024 -
Mission 2024 was packed was long, and packed with church visitations!
This year’s mission looked a little different: Instead of taking a team, the Wyatt’s travelled alone this year. Jan stayed in Kenya for the first few weeks before returning home, and Mark was able to stay about 2 months. Not having a large team meant that it was a little easier to secure visas, travel, and lodging to visit churches in surrounding countries. Mark and Pastor Protus (our director in Kenya) were able to visit 6 villages in Kenya, 1 village in Uganda, and 4 villages in Tanzania! The Wyatt’s were also able to work with our team in Kenya to hold a crusade, a women’s ministry event, a youth rally, a pastor’s conference, a children’s day, a chigger treatment ministry, path ministry, and have time visiting the children at the school. Cornerstone Church donated new uniform shirts for the school, and Joey Lynn Watts (with Star Nursery) donated the seed and flower packets that were dispersed to the families we met during the path ministry walks. What a blessed adventure!

Mission 2023 -
Mission 2023 was incredible! 5 missionaries spent 2 weeks encouraging churches, visiting prisons, teaching self defense, and blessing families with seeds and dresses.
Mission 2023 was so full of joy! Our team of 5 visited the school, 3 different prisons, held path ministry, a crusade, a chigger treatment ministry, a pastor’s conference, a women’s conference, a children’s day, and a bible School Graduation Ceremony. The team handed out vegetable seeds while visiting huts on path ministry, brought dresses from Dress a Girl Around the World for the children, and we were able to bless the school with more bibles and school supplies. Deb and Stan worked together to teach women some general self defense moves during the women’s conference, which brought a lot of joy to everyone! We were able to reach out to the newest church to join MWCC- Cornerstone Mombasa (Pastor Daniel Andalia Ndong’a and his wife, Francisca are graduates of our bible school!) and encourage them as they start this new journey together. Last but not least, we were able to repaint the gate to our headquarters, so that the sign is clear and legible for all who visit. What a celebratory trip!
